Coached at YMCA inPhoenix, AZ, Club Chaos Heart of America Volleyball in Wichita, KS(13s, 14s), Excel Volleyball Club Plano, TX(13s, 14s), Club Legacy Volleyball McKinney (12s, 15s, 16s, 17s), skills clinics and camps at Fieldhouse USA, beach volleyball 14U, 15U, 16U at AVP beach sanctioned tournaments at "The Beach" in McKinney and "Yucatan" in Coppell, 4 PSA league teams at PSA McKinney, skills clinics, private and semi-private lessons at Trinity Church gym in McKinney. Coached regional and national club teams from 2003-2014 then returned to coaching younger ages 8-13. I believe it is important to have excellent fundamental skills, work ethic and sportsmanship starting at the elementary level. I have coached my daughter from 6 years old through high school.

She and her beach partner earned a national bid to Chicago in the 16U division. I was the first coach of two indoor players who went on to play for division I schools-LSU and Stephen F. Austin. They earned those accolades themselves but they reminded me by inviting me to "signing day" that my coaching helped them learn volleyball skills and to believe they could accomplish anything. Both contacted me years after I had coached them to thank me for believing in them and inspiring them to continue working to be the best they could be on and off the court. Coaches influence young players. I choose to influence

my players by building a foundation for their confidence, trust, integrity, friendship and

teamwork...attributes that last a lifetime.

These life skills are even more important today when young people get their motivation or devastation from "likes" or a lack thereof on social media. I have always loved volleyball and believe that the sport helped shaped who I am. I want to share all the positives with players who need and want a place to belong, a place to work hard and experience success as well as loss and work together to learn how to become stronger as a team and as an individual. I consider it an honor to have this opportunity to

coach and I take the role seriously, mixed with fun, discipline and care.
